Oh No! Video Games!

Don't give someone easy access to morphine. That's a dumb idea.

Oh: next week we're going to be doing special episodes where we play a Dark Heresy campaign. I haven't figured out the logistics of putting up hours of content in one week! It seems like it'll probably end up being expensive! We record it on Monday and hopefully that'll be fun!

Theme song’s by The Glowing StarsAlex “Singyamatokun” Davis does our art! This week both of the break songs are off the Chip In: Japan album, the first's by Bit Rat and it's called "4959", the other's by ExileFaker and that one's called "Prelude E13D35".

If you're a chiptune artist, send a message, or even a sample of your work to hello@ohnovideogames.com and maybe we'd be interested in playing it!

There's very little that British people can call our own, but we really do hold the monopoly on getting bladdered and cutting people with very minimal provocation.

Theme song's by The Glowing StarsAlex “Singyamatokun” Davis does our art! The two songs in the show are off Bagu and the Riverman by Dj CUTMAN & SPAMTRON!

It wasn't a big week for games. We made the kind of show you'd expect.

The Glowing Stars do our theme tune and outro! Alex “Singyamatokun” Davis continues to make great show art!

It seems silly that Waluigi doesn't have his own game yet. What are Nintendo even doing? Do you think they know?

Thanks to The Glowing Stars for our theme tune and outro! Alex “Singyamatokun” Davis for our consistently amazing show art and to both Big Giant Circles feat. Jeff Ball for "Thunderstruck" and A_Rival for "mAEt b0y". Both tracks were brought to you by OCRemix, the former song is on the recently released 25YEARLEGEND album.

It's weird how "RPG" is so much of a catch-all term, right?

I guess that's what this episode is about!

Thanks to The Glowing Stars for our theme tune! Alex “Singyamatokun” Davis for our great-as-heck show art and to Sixto Sounds for the ocremix of a track from Super DodgeBall. Happy birthday to that dude, too. That'd be way more timely had this episode come out on schedule. Sorry!

If you want your game to stand out, be stupid and don't make us pick up too many collectables. In fact, that's not limited to games, we've got scathing critiques of the music industry in this episode too!

Thanks to The Glowing Stars for our theme tune! Alex “Singyamatokun” Davis for our great-as-heck show art and Ekaj for the great Hyrule Castle Remix!

Are you concerned with our choice of topics as long as we're still attempting to remain entertaining? Are we entertaining... at all??

Woah.

Thanks to The Glowing StarsAlex “Singyamatokun” Davis and The Kilgores for their song "Family Jewels" off the ocremix "Back In Blue" album!

Thanks for surviving through our odd update schedule! Everything should probably all be in order now that we've gained a level of structure back in our lives.

The thing about getting a few months off of university is it leaves you a little directionless. I suppose, rather than commiting to podcasting once a week, we were instead more concerned with finally etting some sunlight.

Anyway, this week we talk about a heckton about Jim Carrey's Product Placement, The Binding of Isaac's versimilitude, the correct use of "Mad World", bureaucratic destruction and we answer, like, two questions!

Thanks to The Glowing StarsAlex "Singyamatokun" Davis and Danny Baranowsky!

Serious warning: Because of some silly audio issues this episode is horrible to listen to on headphones. Use your PC speakers and I think you'll be fine for the most part.

Let that not remove from the awesome fact that... Oh man! We recorded this at Eurogamer Expo! And really entertaining people were also on the show with us!

Big thanks to JonTim and especially Kev from Sarcastic GamerDebbie from The Average GamerPhillipe from a website that doesn't exist, Chris from "I sort of write stuff", Mike and Chris from Ready Game Fire and Jenn from Death by Robots.

Episode 22: J-Dubz

Is... is this how I upload a podcast? Am I doing it right?

I edited the show in lieu of Mat this week, so apologies for any audio weirdness that might go on, especially during the intro and break music. It's totally worth it though.

This week we talk about Tom's indie game developer bowel problems, Endermens, more Mortal Kombat (Moretal Kombat?) and start a new section where we have a guest on to discuss Plants VS Zombies tactics. This week's special guest: Alison!

We might not do that again.

Massive thanks to everyone's favourite band The Glowing Stars and to Alex for the always wonderful artwork. You should also donate to Mat's Extra Life Dark Souls marathon here.

Plus there's some "things we wrote this week" discussion that's a bit about PSN security and a bit about achievements. Then some stuff about gay characters in games (specifically: The IGN bullshit that went up recently).

It's the least we can do, really.

In this episode we talk about Portal 2 but really don't spoil anything. We thought about going into some detail but maybe that can wait for a few weeks (Josh still hasn't finished it). We also talk about an idea we have for Pornography Graphs, some Super Meat Boy, the backlash to our Sexism In Games article, go a little more in-depth about publisher-enthusiast relations and surmise the problems with being a SteamPunk. Perhaps unwisely: We also weigh in on the Dickwolves issue. I can understand if you wanna skip that part (it's not very funny).

Plus we play some Shag Marry Kill with Game Developers. A segment we're Never Going To Do Again.
